A couple raiders teams playing a year up?
So just a race to development, if churn happens anyway at U13 then was it worth it for the patch for 3 years?
Kids should have fun and actually want to get good, else, just delaying the ticket to men’s league
Priority should be fun, getting better, good parents, good friendships
When I see Klevr 2016 have like 6 divisions ….wow, now that’s a trick
Your kid may be the fastest skater until you put a pick on their stick. See it all the time wow that kid should fly by the D. Then gets puck and winds up going 50% of speed that they did without it. When a kid learns to skate with a puck with head uo at speed. More often than not though that skill doesn’t get developed for a multitude of reasons.
Can u speak more to this point? Trying to help my son with same issue. What is a good way to push through it?

There are 10 T2 KSL teams that would beat just about ANY MD team out there.

Yes, there are a couple MD teams that are rocking it, but they also do a crap load of "extra tournaments" that are all full ice. So its pretty disingenuous to say that they are good because of MD.

There is one Raiders team playing up, and One Young kings team, they did "okay" playing up.
The Northern Saints Team playing up got dusted. 0-5 for the last weekend.

Practice it, its a very specific skill. Less stick handling. Head up. Practice.

Did you watch any of the games? So now its all about winning? Ask any of the YK parents and that was a great game between YK and NS. NS had the lead for most of the game 2-1, then 2-2, 3-3 then a 5-3 final. Thats development if you can keep it close with that team. Both games vs Toronto Raiders were also competitive. if you continue to look at W and L then you have no clue how to do develop, look back from March and compare records then. Then again trying to reason with people on this is like putting a square peg in a round hole, you can keep trying but it wont work.
