Agree with original poster. False. Look at the NHL draft class last 5 years. How many went to the Brick. So many pass up cause they feel it’s a waste of money. Many will go simply cause of money. Don’t get me wrong there will be a lot of good players but not all the best players.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 7:42 pmNot true. All the best attend the brickGuest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 7:37 pm More than half the YK roster can fill the Brick teams but it will depend on how the parents feel about dishing out money for the Brick. It will not make a difference if they pass cause those kids if they continue will be great players. So then you will end up with mediocre players on Brick teams. Happens every year. Many parents will not bother. Imagine if YK played in the G, they would easily be the top team. JRC would not even matter.
2016 AAA

Re: 2016 AAA
Its a legit tourney, most of the best 10 year olds play in it, of course many dont stay ahead and make the NHL but it was pretty cool that 13 players on the CDN and US world junior teams played in it.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 7:48 pmAgree with original poster. If you are speaking of this years roster than it was like 10 players who didn’t play in the Brick.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 8:08 pmIts a legit tourney, most of the best 10 year olds play in it, of course many dont stay ahead and make the NHL but it was pretty cool that 13 players on the CDN and US world junior teams played in it.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 7:48 pmAgree with original poster. best d in the age group the little guy on stars? you can't be seriousGuest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 6:39 pm 4 players from Raiders Silver. The best D in the 2016 age group from Stars , kid from Bahamas. Rumors of former top Star players playing AA 2015.
Re: 2016 AAA
Beat D are 2 from YK, 1 from Duffield, 1 2015 Reps and then a few from Raiders x 2 , Vaughn and London…not sure about the Stars but maybe hes progressed a lot in the last few months.
Re: 2016 AAA
Seems like a coaching issue if all the kids are leaving to play on other AAA teamsGuest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 2:43 pmIs it just talent or is there a coaching issue?Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 2:38 pmTerrible sorry dadGuest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 2:16 pmnopeGuest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 2:12 pmWhy is that? For those of us out of the loop why is NYR gonna be a dumpster fire? isn’t the coach not the same one as coaches the Stars? what’s the issue there?
Re: 2016 AAA
What’s TT looking like for next season? Is it purely Aces ? Also heard about a few players leaving. How is the coach there?
Re: 2016 AAA
I saw a few of the aces at a 3 on 3 last weekend and the one dad or coach said it’s the whole Aces team and none of their regular faces or key kids leaving so we’ll see.
I am sure they are adding more than one or two at their tryouts. They were passing the puck well now with at least a few players progressing and the same one or two sticking out.

Re: 2016 AAA
That kid is good, definitely a kid you want on your AAA team, but no where near the best at the age group.
