International stars have been playing together for 3 years. Makes a difference. Tournament has all the good teams in pool A. Must be their first time running a tournament if they don’t know how to group teams.
US and Niagara kids dont want to play Everest, London kid cannot help too much
Didn’t Everest get destroyed by Chicago today and will be the same against Vikings. Canada cannot compete with top US teams. You guys might want to a different sport.
No, they beat them 5-2.

Guest wrote: Fri Jan 03, 2025 8:04 am Amazing. Mount Everest and OHP can try to stack teams all they want but realityr is you will play some real teams from the US today. None of your teams stand a chance from here until Sunday. Oh btw, I heard Canada almost won yesterday.
Ohp and Everest are spring programs. You should be thankful of organizations like this who can fill a void for kids who want to play but their teams aren’t entering.
OHP is a wannabe program with a pushy woman who knows nothing about hockey. Keep paying, you’re all ruining hockey
OHP played a solid game against the international stars with a 1 goal loss. That’s not bad considering it’s a mixed bag of kids from klevr that don’t play together. Great game to watch!
Wasn’t OHP one of the first teams eliminated from the tourney and they still have zero points?

Guest wrote: Thu Jan 02, 2025 9:35 pm Is the OHP team playing in Klevr tournament basically the next year Reps? Or do they call some other kids..coz 2-1 with Everest/Nats is a solid result.
Looks like they had bunch of kids from random teams like stars and raiders. I don’t think it was a full Reps team because the Raiders are going JRC. Not sure where the others are going.
OHP had the core Raiders silver kids and some top kids from other teams. Almost like a spring type team. Everest looked like they had some duffield kids/raiders kids and couple VR kids. Mixed up teams.

The core of the Raiders Silvers playing for OHP has completely fallen apart during this tournament. It’s clear that the selection for the next JRC team is heavily influenced by politics and wealthy parents. This core is supposed to be the Bulldogs’ spring team, labeled as the “pre-Brick team,” but I’m shocked that the Bulldogs organization handed spots to kids with no real skills—simply because Omasta is friends with Erlich.
Everest was dominated by the International Stars, which is another clear indicator of the level we can expect for the Nats next year.
The Young Kings continue to excel—their level is consistently impressive.
The Aces have been a pleasant surprise.
And as always, the International Stars remain a powerhouse.

Yk has yet to play a top program outside of the KSL. The KSL does not have a proven top team other than YK. They gave themselves a pretty easy round robin. Let’s see on Sunday if they are the real deal when they play a proven top program

Guest wrote: Fri Dec 27, 2024 6:04 pm I was just looking at the Klevr January tournament and wasn’t sure if anyone here has an answer yet but why is group C of tier 1 2016 so weak? Also it does seem your A is the best and group B a bit lower but group C almost looks like a relegation group right?
It's like going to the judges scorecards in Vegas. Rigged! Anyway at least the teams in group A get to face great competition in the group stage. All of the teams in group A would advance if they were in group C. This will just create lopsided results in the elimination rounds.
It will look a lot like this in the group stage.

Group A
1st - international stars
2nd - JR Vikings

Group B
1st - YK
2nd - HSL selects

Group C
1st - Raiders black
2nd - Buffalo

Not sure how the tournament works. Maybe the top 2 teams from each group advance and then the next 2 teams with the highest point totals advance from any division or they just take the highest point totals and seed them 1 to 8 from all groups.
Well looks like I was 5 for 6 in my 1st round predictions. Well done Aces.

Everest has a huge US following
You must be new to spring hockey

KV making an easy route to the finals for his team. Changes the rules day to day to accommodate his team. Joke of a tournament especially for $3500.

Wow. TRW that low and VK the top team???. You are completely out to lunch. TRW existing core coming from Northern Saints and they are a good core. They are adding some other solid pieces and should be top 5-6. Sens will probably be the weakest here. NYR is probably another team near the bottom based on skates they have had. TT should be top 5-6. DMF between 8-11. NATS are a good team but lack a goal scorer but if they can lure in someone they could be top 3 for sure.

The cobras have the dirtiest player in the age group, doesn’t play hockey just constant cheap shots
