Isn’t it a coaches job to recruit the best players possible? Like the above poster said. He’s seen at KSL tournaments and in rinks all around the city. He puts in the time and you’re going to bash him. Take a look at the u12 standings. His team is first in the gthl and ranked number 1 in Ontario. Go ask those parents if it’s bs!

You guys are wasting time trying to tear down this team. The team is picked. If you are having trouble recruiting players because they want to go to the nats then your coaching staff should do better. Coming on here trying to bad mouth the coach/parents isn’t going to push players away. The entertainment is nice but isn’t going to prevent anyone from wanting to go to the program.

Maybe we should check standings to see how the glorified door openers team is doing.

Darwin patrols this site regularly and nothing wrong with that but the defending can sound like a parent with reality being quite different. Some parents might be offended by hearing rumours of new kids coming in but every team wants to improve and be strong at AAA. You can’t knock a coach for that but be transparent with parents and don’t make it seem that they have a spot when the plan is to find stronger players. Sure some parents want to leave but some wanting to stay for various reasons. The coach might be disliked for reasons we don’t need to discuss on anonymous forums but there are a few that do support him and their kids are getting the ice time. We we will see how teams shape up very soon after Feb 15 once announcements are official.

Thanks for the nats update lol what other top teams are looking for players ? Rebels, reps, nyr, dmf all seem like dumpster fires. Why is it so difficult trying to get on a top 6 team and who are going to be the other 2 teams rounding out the top 6 ?

Some think it’s the titans some think the sens ? Anyone have real input that will actually help ?

If you have not been to skates or been approached it won’t matter. From what it seems after attending a few skates these teams should be the strongest 6 but it’s impossible to know what rankings will be between them.

Others have had very weak skates and others have struggled to keep top kids from feeders.

thanks for the grammar lesson, whats wrong Aaron, no one showing up to the open house? Do you know how many parents are former AAA coaches or pro players that are not coaching anymore because they don't want it to reflect on their child? what do you want now? a parade? remember at the end of the day no one outside the GTHL or NYHL knows or cares who you are.

you are playing one tier 1 team on 3/4 ice the rest are A and AA teams for next year. The Tournaments you play in are sandbagging as well. You're an idiot.
