Is it worth the travel for full ice....
We live in the Ted Reeve East York SIR district, so for U7 next year would be tough to navigate the city...
Thinking of brining him to a skate or 2...
I like the uniforms though!
Games are being played this weekend at Westwood. Go checkout the games and see what you think. Full ice has been a good experience for us and the league has been run quite well especially given it was the first year. I believe the option for a Toronto team would be the GTA Aces. Perhaps contact them and find out where and when they practice.
No harm going for a skate - I’d say if your kid is already a strong skater then maybe full ice at this age makes sense. Otherwise he’ll just be watching the strong skaters going up and down the ice.
Other Toronto options are the Stars, Raiders and possibly Northern Saints. Each have their pros and cons - do your homework. FYI Aces base fee was $5k+ for tier 1/2 to share ice (unless you were on the Lindros team). If that sounds good to you, join by all means. No other Klevr team shares ice for practices.

Ice time in Toronto is going to kill hockey eventually... thats wild that its 5k and you share ice with another team.

For 2018 GTA kids, NYHL (vaughan ranger, duffield devils)/CDS/CDP(Leaside, Scarborough ice raider etc) are the best options to stay local with good developments/competitions. For non- GTA kids, klevr may be a good option to get some competitions, as their centers are small.
It seems only Aces shared ice. Raiders, Stars, N Saints didnt. Other teams also paid less between 4K to 4.5k. Do your homework and go where it makes the most sense. Also research on coaching to make sure it’s a good fit.
How's the GTA stars west team? They seem to be playing in Tier 1 in the next tourney while they started as Tier 2..did they add new kids along the way?
