Great insight. In that case, why strive for anything at all?
I think most parents just want to support their kid in being as competitive as they are able/desire to be. My kid is not destined for the NHL and that’s just fine - in the meantime, I’m going to do what I can to help him achieve his short-term goals.
People are dumb. There are many reasons to play competitive sports that have NOTHING to do with making the NHL.
People who boil it down to that I am convinced are special needs, or Asian. It has never been an issue until they started getting heavily involved in the sport. Its classic Asian parenting. If you aren't getting an A+ on your test, why did you even bother? If you aren't going to be a DR why did you even bother existing?

yup, just like criminals.
But you definitely get more of Criminals and bad hockey parents per capita in certain colors - probably shapes too....

I know EVERYTHING is about money, but does Brand value mean anything to these people? They were very quickly becoming "the brand" of hockey in KSL.
There is no way all of these teams are going to be good... even for T2 they likely won't be.

There will be many teams on the Raiders. I guess everyone wants to join KSL. Are any top teams left in NYHL?

-dont take too seriously, focus on fun and growth...bc we all end up in the ASHL anyway
So, how much is Klevr
We almost went to Klevr skate but decided to stay closer to home, my calculations are $5K all in for U7 next year
-$600 house league LTP
-$2K select
-$600 extra skating after school hockey school
-$500 power skating
-$500 a couple single day PA day March break / xmas break camps
-$1.5K spring...
