Your not watching. RW is the best 09 D by a large margin.
RW isn’t even the best D on his own team…
RW is by far the top D in the age group. PG and TK are in the top 5
Just in the GTHL right? There are much better 09's D outside of the GTHL.
Lol no there isn’t in those awful leagues playing aa talent half the year
lol more kids drafted from the OMHA than the G last year. And a lot of the top kids drafted from the G were from the OMHA and HEO.

Nothing to do with $ offered?
Thats how he attracted the players that are leaving after a year. Attract them with money. Lose them to more money.
Totally incorrect and ignorant.

This comment gets thrown out every year at this time. If they were from the O or HEO that's where they would have been drafted from but they're not. They leave to play where they find the top level of competition and exposure which has historically been the G. Maybe the O and HEO have to find a way to keep these kids playing at home. Until then 300 kids will be drafted with a heavy top end component coming from the G.

Time to take a look at how bitter parents whose kids got cut or parents whose kids are on teams that are at risk of losing to stronger teams next season are trying to stir the pot and create doubt amongst parents of top players who come on here (most don't):

1) Top rated kids are over-promised ice time and special teams. With so many these talented players on one team, the promises won't be kept. If you are a top kid on a top team you may not stand out as much because you are playing with equally or slightly more talented players. So you should move to a weaker team so you can stand out more.
2) The only way that top teams are attracting top players is by offering them money either directly or paying for their expenses or sponsoring programs to add development value. This isn't fair so top kids shouldn't go there. Not fair to kids who are not strong enough hockey players to get on those teams and the the teams they play on are unfairly disadvantaged. Losing is too much to bear for them and their parents.
3) There is a parent coach or a coach with a relative on the roster so there will be bias in terms of treatment and ice time.

The reason top teams are attracting top players is better coaching. The only reason why top kids leave top teams is because of bad coaching. It’s all going to be about the coaching next season, a “good coach” will be able to balance the talent and keep everyone happy. The only people that are worried are the insecure parents, and the coaches that s%#t the bed this year.
