DMF are going to win the championship.
Easy. Your team barely made the final 8. Played well, got some luck and got into final 4. Congrats. But you will not see another win this year.
NYR was screwed by GTHL - gave home ice to DMF at the worst rink in the G. Any other rink NYR would have won. DMF is big but slow which benefits on small ice. The faster more skilled NYR players have less room to work before being bodied.
I'm sure DMF bench is busy on the phone trying to get GTHL to move the Tuesday vs JRC game so they can play at crap village again.
If I recall correctly, the NYR had a win and in game last year on their own home ice... and lost that one too. Maybe it's not the arena.
