Top 3 skaters left, they will struggle but have a strong goalie.Guest wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 10:21 amFrom what I hear it's essentially the whole team with maybe one or two removals and adds.Guest wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 10:00 amGeorge Bell A team from MHL not too strong. Did entire team follow, or any of the stronger kids go elsewhere? GB from last season likely equal to Rangers.Guest wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 8:48 amEveryone didn't leave the Attack ... there were a number of players moving up to AA (including the coach's son) and there were probably 6 or 7 players that would have most likely returned to the squad ... the coach had offered to return to the bench eventhough his son was moving up but the George Bell organization (who administers the team) thought it a better fit to simply move their Mississauga A coach over and he has decided to bring his whole team with him. So it's somewhat of a complete rebuild ...Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 11:41 am How's tryouts going? What happened to the Attack? Heard everyone left, didn't believe it but it's true not a single player is returning. Crazy. Other big changes?
Rangers, Panthers and Lightning all essentially rebuilding. Sharks have lost a number of players as per a previous post in this thread so who knows where they will end up
Avs (by default) look to be a in good position to move up the standings simply because they aren't going through a complete rebuild
and of course Eagles will dominate ... they actually cancelled their one and only tryout because there will be essentially zero changes to their team.
2010 A West

Re: 2010 A West
I heard Panthers got their older coach of a couple years ago back. Is this true and is this even legal?
Re: 2010 A West
His son is back on the team, but don't believe the previous coach is back on the bench himself.Guest wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 8:00 am I heard Panthers got their older coach of a couple years ago back. Is this true and is this even legal?

Not sure anyone will get arrested for a former coach returning to an old team...Guest wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 8:00 am I heard Panthers got their older coach of a couple years ago back. Is this true and is this even legal?
Joking aside is this really the case?? Didn't he take over the Panthers AA at one point?

He is not the coach. He did take over the AA Panthers for about 3 days, then realized he was so in over his head he left. 3 coaching changes in the division but no change for the Panthers.
Re: 2010 A West
His kid is a good player, no idea why he would take him back to that situation.

Now this is laughable.Guest wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 12:11 pm His kid is a good player, no idea why he would take him back to that situation.
Re: 2010 A West
His son is not a strong player, but hopefully he is having fun. That's all that matters.
Bottom 3 teams will be battle for last. VP, VR and Attack all looking like select teams.
Re: 2010 A West
West will be similar to the East. Very bottom heavy where stronger teams can inflate their records.
Re: 2010 A West
What's laughable is that this is "A" hockey, just a tab more to pay than select hockey, and all of you are just nuts making dumba$$ posts about JM and his kid or what's going on with other teams. It's "A" hockey... Glorify Select Hockey!Guest wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 5:16 pmHis son is not a strong player, but hopefully he is having fun. That's all that matters.

I'm not friends with JM, but who cares? VP, VR, TE, etc... It's "A" hockey. Your kids are practicing to play beer league hockey. The good news, beer league will be cheaper, cuz parents will be saving tons of $$$, and your kid will be paying for it. Also, you don't have to worry about all the BS of minor hockey (Cost, Coaches, Org, and The G). Enjoy what little time is left to see your kid play minor hockey, cuz it will be done very shortly. After that, either your kid is playing on your beer league team or you're just saying "Bye" when they are heading out the door.
