I think it’s like this in every year. Last years draft class had its flaws as well. Every kid needs to develop at this age. It’s the kids that aren’t showing the effort that becomes a concern.
Last year there were 5 kids that were clear cut studs. I don’t think you can say that for this years group. There’s no Beltchez , Valentini or Maholtra in this current group.
You are comparing apples to oranges.

I am sure a U16 line of Murata-Delisle-Warren for more than hold their weight against a U16 line of Beltchez-Valentini-Maholtra
Murata is inconsistent
Delisle would likely be suspended
Warren’s a runt.

Not even close at all. What a bad comparison. When you make this comparison you realize the 09 group isn’t what 09 parents think it is.

Many ‘09 parents are delusional and in for a big wake up call!
It will be a lot of surprises not who u expect, u can replace any player on DMF results will be same, JE great coach best in league.
JE lost his control, all players play for themselves.

If you’re still calling coaches at this age to complain about your kid’s ice time, you’re not helping, you’re hurting. Coaches aren’t impressed, and you’re giving them a pretty solid reason to cut your kid. By now, your kid should be handling their own issues with the coach. Let them grow, learn, and advocate for themselves, it’s hockey, not a parent teacher conference.

Nephew doesn't need to handle these issues.

Doesn’t “need” to but he’s is the one actually making all the decisions and running the team

You’ll stick if you’re drafted in the first round. After that it’s anyone’s guess based on the teams needs
This is a weak draft class compared to previous years. No real standouts or players that have been consistent game in and game out. Scouts are noticing several flaws in the top kids available. There’s a lot of head scratching going on.

That’s a pretty darn good line if you ask me. Don’t forget they’re only 15 year old human beings. They get injured, they get sick, they have a lot of pressure and a lot of critics. They’re not robots. The three teens listed here are super talented and yes they all have things to work on. They all have great potential. The road is ahead very long and bumpy. But with luck, work and passion anything is possible for a lot of the kids playing AAA in the gthl.

5 of the top 6 teams in Ontario are GTHL. Are there some talented players on other teams in Ontario.. Sure. However make no mistake the bulk of the talent has always been in the GTHL with the 09 loop because of all the $$$ being thrown around.
