I think it’s like this in every year. Last years draft class had its flaws as well. Every kid needs to develop at this age. It’s the kids that aren’t showing the effort that becomes a concern.

Last year there were 5 kids that were clear cut studs. I don’t think you can say that for this years group. There’s no Beltchez , Valentini or Maholtra in this current group.

Coaches aren’t impressed, and you’re giving them a pretty solid reason to cut your kid. By now, your kid should be handling their own issues with the coach. Let them grow, learn, and advocate for themselves, it’s hockey, not a parent teacher conference.

That’s a pretty darn good line if you ask me. Don’t forget they’re only 15 year old human beings. They get injured, they get sick, they have a lot of pressure and a lot of critics. They’re not robots. The three teens listed here are super talented and yes they all have things to work on. They all have great potential. The road is ahead very long and bumpy. 5 of the top 6 teams in Ontario are GTHL. Are there some talented players on other teams in Ontario.. Sure.
