401 about to get an influx of crazy hockey parents
OMHA parent here.
At the 2015 level, G has 2 top teams a bunch in the middle and the rest are struggling
OMHA has 1 top team, a lot more in the middle and a couple crappy ones.
What would be the benefit of going to the G?
I asked this question honestly and humbly… not looking for the generic the G is better answer. At this point, it looks to be the exact same shit.

0% benefit, too many crazies in the G already, will attract the few remaining crazy parents from the O. The OMHA will become a better league for it.

Oakville/Burlington/Brampton group to put a team together and take over Rebels or Senators
Ajax/Pickering/Whitby group to put a team together and take over Wings or Reps
Markham/Aurora/Newmarket group to put a team together and take over Majors or Titans.

Practice locally and travel for GTHL games.
Watch it happen!
It’s about time! Hopefully every other sport follows suit

Everyone already circumvented the rules. I don't see what the big deal is.

Entire rosters of teams in this league are imports right now. Very little real impact. Just the bottom teams will be better now.
