Im curious if they send out an email or phone call to those they are interested in? Do they say thanks but no thanks to those they aren't?

Appreciate it any feedback.
the kids they were interested in were asked to stay an extra hour afterwards for a scrimmage

OMHA parent here.
At the 2015 level, G has 2 top teams a bunch in the middle and the rest are struggling

OMHA has 1 top team, a lot more in the middle and a couple crappy ones.

What would be the benefit of going to the G?
I asked this question honestly and humbly… not looking for the generic the G is better answer. At this point, it looks to be the exact same shit.
0% benefit, too many crazies in the G already, will attract the few remaining crazy parents from the O. The OMHA will become a better league for it.
ha ha ha your comparing the G to OMHA. ha ha ha. thats like comparing the NHL to PWHL.
Obviously with the G being the PWHL. The only reason GTHL teams were historically stronger is because of open borders and forming super teams. Whitby proved this year that if we do that in the OMHA then our top teams will be as good or better. And they only took 3 or 4 from other centres. If my kid was on WW, there is not a chance I would go play for a team in the G. The power has shifted and the real hockey players will be staying put. Enjoy your terrible traffic and dumpster warehouse Westwood/Chesswood arenas.

Hearing coaches already committing to kids for next year, many OMHA kids flooding to the GTHL

An already good top 4 teams will mean possibly 6 good teams next year, that would make open boarders all worth it.

JRC, DMF, NATS, TM , NYR all eyes on those teams to see who they keep and who they add/remove

KV and his minions DG & SW trying to hold on and brace for impact. Best part is KV will bring his kid to the G in no time.

Winning a red hat is like winning 5th place in a pie eating contest.

Whitby is the number one team. Take a look in the rankings, less than half are GTHL teams. The show is over Toronto, hope you enjoyed the ride

Whitby plays in a tough OMHA loop. looks like close games. OMHA AAA is equal to select hockey.

Or who departs of their own accord.
