Anyone at the game last night knows MW was the better team. It was surprising considering how bad they’ve been recently. MW still has their small 07 forward out and maybe he can give them a boost when he returns. APR pulled it out with 2 goals in about 2-3 minutes. That’s the way the cookie crumbles sometimes and good teams find a way to win even when they don’t have their best stuff. I will say, it was a bit of a pillow fight from both sides. Best guys on the ice were the refs (not the linesmen who threw centres out on almost every draw). Refs didn’t call one penalty and let them play. Was a nice change from some of the other games when they call absolutely everything. Hopefully MW can build on that game and get back to playing good hockey. Will be a better league with them going. Can have APR, MW, NS, BC fighting at the top and then teams like WW and PP pushing from the middle

It seems this year refs are being bonused on calling penalties. No consistency, everything is 4 minutes for head contact but miss hooks on scoring chances.
You know we have an issue when calling someone a Not Allowed is 7 games but hits from behind are 1 game. Where are there priorities?
