Toronto Marlboros Holiday Classic U16(2009)
Re: Toronto Marlboros Holiday Classic U16(2009)
Waterloo honestly owes Don Mills a HUGE thank you for allowing their kids to be seen by scouts.

Does KB kid get his skates sharpened between periods? Ive never seen a kid get so much ice. The bottom end kids on that team pay for the team sharpener and never get to use it.
Re: Toronto Marlboros Holiday Classic U16(2009)
So how many OMHA teams are left in the final 4? Nvm that how many OMHA teams even made it to the final 8? lol
Re: Toronto Marlboros Holiday Classic U16(2009)
Does it say somewhere in the rules that the Marlies can decide who they play against? According to the schedule they were supposed to get the winner of Huron Pert and the Jr. Canadiens but now they’re playing Little Caesars. Imagine making it all the way to the finals without playing a top ten team.

Crybaby marlies bunch of wimps, can’t win against big bad DMF or JRC, so what do they do??? They switch em to play the easier team! All the way to the semis playing against low level teams
Re: Toronto Marlboros Holiday Classic U16(2009)
Get your eyes checked, they play JRC. DMF have the final handed to them, as usual.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 8:25 pm Crybaby marlies bunch of wimps, can’t win against big bad DMF or JRC, so what do they do??? Hi kids and parents. We're starting out a hockey analysis service for teams. We've analyzed the forwards and defencemen from the GTHL. We'll add non-GTHL teams over the next few days.
We're looking at the U16 AAA GTHL players in the Marlies tournament based on their contribution to overall team scoring.
Most look at points a player gets. But the same player on a top team will get more points than if he were on a mid-pack team.
To account for this, we look at the player's contribution to his team's total goals scored. As an example:
* Player A has 10 points and his team scored 50 goals
* Player B has 7 points and his team scored 8 goals
* Player A: 10/50 = involved in 20% of goals scored
* Player B: 7/8 = involved in 88% of goals scored[/list]
Our analysis has found that Player B would have a much higher point total and impact on Player A's team than Player A is having.
For today's analysis we limited to team that scored an average of 2 goals per game (i.e., 8 total goals in the round robin). Otherwise a player on team that scored only a handful of total goals would appear as much more impactful than he actually would be on a higher scoring team.

KBs kid is just an average AAA kid. Nothing special. He's not going to the NHL. KB should realize this by now and be fair with ice time. It's so obvious that he is giving his kid all the advantages. This is the problem with hockey here in Canada. Way way way too political. Disgusting.
KB is a piece of sh*t. Everyone knows it.
