"Trainwreck" yes probably they can definitely do without forwards #79 who skates around like he's lost, forward #10 who makes zero effort, #17 who is a selfish player and a huge liability (child and parent). Now on to defense #88 not sure what he's doing EVER, #28 gets more ice time then he deserves and #67 not sure why he's even on AAA. Big turn arounds for this team hopefully or they will be doomed for next year. Wondering if JF will be able to keep the other players together or will they be making plans to jump for next year.![]()

No. The problem is parent coaches. Really shouldn’t even be allowed at this level of hockey.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 10:04 amTrainwreck, too many parent coaches yet still a top 4 team, from a AA parent looking at the AAA league it seems as if 3 out of the top 4 team have parent coaches (or uncle).Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 9:54 amTrainwreck could have called that from the start, the parents barrie group is your first problem second is way too many dad coachesGuest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 7:55 amGuest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 7:52 am NATS. Your theory on parent coaches seems to be terrible. Top AA teams all parent coaches. Top AAA teams at U11/U12 all parent coaches. So maybe the issue is those non parent coaches who really don't care about your little Johnny
Re: 2015 AAA
So a shitty paid coach is ok. Minor hockey has lost its way. It used to be if your kid could legitimately make a team actually trying out and they were a fit positionally they made the team.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 10:30 amNo. The problem is parent coaches. But hey keep throwing money at a broken system, where tou pay the most of any minor sport only to have your kid make the least of any of the big 4 pro sports if they can get there that is.
Re: 2015 AAA
The root cause of all issues in minor hockey is going into it with the goal of their kid making the NHL.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 11:19 amSo a shitty paid coach is ok. What if your uncle coaches you? Plays you more than any other kid, adds extra points to your game sheet and you’re still not the top kid. Oh yeah, then builds his brick team around you so you can suck there too does that count as good coaching I mean, technically it’s not a parent right so it should be OK asking for a friend….
Re: 2015 AAA
Can the Bulldogs please release their Brick team? I just went and bought a case of popcorn from Costco so I can get through all these comments to follow.
