Trainwreck, too many parent coaches yet still a top 4 team, from a AA parent looking at the AAA league it seems as if 3 out of the top 4 team have parent coaches (or uncle).

Your theory on parent coaches seems to be terrible. Top AA teams all parent coaches. Top AAA teams at U11/U12 all parent coaches. So maybe the issue is those non parent coaches who really don't care about your little Johnny

So a shitty paid coach is ok. Minor hockey has lost its way. It used to be if your kid could legitimately make a team actually trying out and they were a fit positionally they made the team.

But hey keep throwing money at a broken system, where tou pay the most of any minor sport only to have your kid make the least of any of the big 4 pro sports if they can get there that is.
