Re: 2009 GTHL AA West
After playing against VP and MR this season MR has the clear advantage in the goaltending in having Doyle between the pipes. If he’s starting MR will win this series and the championship. He's always in position and even if he's not he's has the athleticism and speed to keep the puck out. I’m not trying to glaze the guy or anything
but I gotta give credit where credit is due and in my eyes having played against every goalie he’s the best in the league.

Re: 2009 GTHL AA West
What’s done is done. Inside information says nothing the Rattlers try will change the decision of the GTHL. They are pretty much wasting their time, unless they find it therapeutic to continue with their current campaign, but ultimately it’s all for nothing.

Agreed. The GTHL is infamous for showing zero leniency with its punishments. You might shave a few games off a coach suspension but that's it. But the GTHL needs to review its rules annually and I would hope they would review the penalties for clerical errors and adjust them to better suit the crime. A hefty monetary fine to the offending association is reasonable. A couple of games suspension for team officials perhaps. but remove the punishment on the players. It's beyond stupid and unjust. And while they are at it, they need to review the penalties for first-time offenses for players using verboten words. A first-time offender using the 'p' word getting 7 games? When a first time checking to the head offense gets you two games. Yeah, that really sends the right message to players about what the league is more concerned about - your feelings not your health. There should be an escalating penalty model that parallels the penalties for dangerous play infractions.
The GTHL is run by suits and lawyers, just like Disney, another Mickey Mouse business.

Totally agree…it just doesn’t make sense. How does a player get more games for saying something than for physically injuring another kid? It just goes to show how woke the GTHL has become. Everything’s being labeled as offensive or hateful these days, and it feels like common sense has gone out the window. Intent and context should matter, player safety should always come first.

Have you been following along? First time here? Their literal point is that they didn't know. The organization messed up the registration with the help of the GTHL and their flawed instructions. The guy had all the qualifications, submitted them, and has the OHF checkmark screenshot (look at their website; it's all there out in the open). You losers with the 'rules are rules' chants just want to see the kids suffer. Mistakes happen; no crime was committed. Good for the MR parents for fighting for their kids. Now... go ahead and call me an MR parent because I know that's what's next. Guess what? I'm an HVS parent and disgusted with the way PC not only made a small thing into a federal crime, but called other clubs to try and get them to do the same. Even our GM was disgusted, because it's wrong and the GTHL not investigating or following their own rules is wrong.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 4:35 pmThe G rulebook actually states that if a coach on a bench knows there is an ineligible player or coach/trainer on the opposing bench, they are required to flag it. Everyone should go to the game on Sunday and show your support for HVS. Stupid Rattler parents.

Re: 2009 GTHL AA West
Yes but their "literally point is that they didn't know" is just a complete lie and that's why everyone has turned against MR now because you're being full of shit. They absolutely knew. Because they literally signed off on the game sheets for 3 months, knowing full well that the trainer on their bench was not the same name as the trainer on the game sheet. So of course they knew. You mean to tell me that some mom from another team could figure out their game sheet was incorrect, but they didn't know??? You guys are embarrassing yourself now with this story. Just own it already.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 4:58 pmHave you been following along? First time here? Their literal point is that they didn't know. Re: 2009 GTHL AA West
We all know a mistake happened but why RAT it out. Some worthless piece of garbage is snooping around other peoples game sheets to find a flaw. I wonder whether this person from another team realized that your RATTING will hurt kids. This is not about punishing a bench staff but you are hurting kids .. as outlined above that is the real evil that has been played out. You disgusting RAT for reporting this ! This is getting real annoying in a hurry. MR take your punishment and move on. Stop blaming others for your error weither it was intentional or not. You still have a great chance to make it into the playoffs and do some damage. Make the best of it. Stop complaining already.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 5:22 pmYes but their "literally point is that they didn't know" is just a complete lie and that's why everyone has turned against MR now because you're being full of shit. Totally agree, this is a huge year for a lot of these kids. Whether it’s the OHL, a D1 school, or another opportunity, you don’t mess with a kid’s dream, especially over something off the ice that they had no control over. It’s just wrong to punish the players for something they didn’t do. People need to think about the long term impact before making decisions that could affect these kids’ futures.
