specifically, “Reactionary Rats”- parents from teams “done wrong” who vengefully seek out & then directly complain about any potential technical wrongs/mistakes on opposing teams of related players(family/friends)…

Isn’t that right, “Rat”tlers parents?

Best of luck in the playoffs.

May the most worthy team win.
We can all agree that there is something wrong with a persons character if opportunity comes without playing the game. Simply put, the person who reported this to the G has no character and now has lost all respect across the players, team and minor hockey. Character is what you are .. remember that when someone snitches the next time. Sorry, this cannot be recovered. What a horrid example of character you have set for your kid.

It was the Humber Valley Sharks goalie mom and it’s not hard to find her name. She’s actually quite proud of what she did and feels absolutely no shame or guilt about it.

Has anyone asked her why she did this and how she lives with herself?
Omg the Drama. Get over it already. Beyond boring and pathetic now.
If you guys were hoping to win in the court of public opinion I think your saturation and over the top drama has backfired. Move on.

I’d like to know if she’s proud of herself and what she feels she has accomplished with what she did. What if this was done to her son’s team? Was it worth it? Is the world a better place now she’s done it? There’s a special place in hell for people like this.

As a mother I could never to this to kids. I just can’t imagine knowingly hurting a child over a game. It’s not in my nature to purposely hurt people.

Excuse me, how exactly were these children hurt? They missed no games. They missed no practices. They missed no tournaments. They know who won the games played despite what the standings today may say. They will qualify for the playoffs and continue to play. Could the penalty imposed been financial, perhaps, but aside for bragging rights by the parents for a first place finish not all that much has changed. Whether the Ipad game sheet fiasco was an oversight or just plain incompetent, team adults were responsible, but please these kids didn't miss a thing.

Exactly. This is not as deep as they are making it out to be. They didn't miss any games and they are most likely going to be in the playoffs. So really they suffered nothing. So just stop this already and let's get back to the actual hockey talk.

Regarding the Rattlers and the games being taken away, I was explaining it to my nonna, and she is super upset about it. She went ahead and sent the evil eye to the Humber Valley Sharks goalie mom, seven generations of bad luck are coming to that family now. You have no idea what you’ve unleashed.

My understanding is that they just made the playoff cutoff and will play the 2nd highest seed in the 1st round. Teams work hard all season to be a higher seed so they have the advantage of playing weaker teams in earlier rounds. They have been robbed of this opportunity and VP have also been impacted. The Humber Valley mom should do everyone a favor and just pull her son out of hockey. The world and the arenas are a better place without people like that around.

I wholeheartedly agree with this statement. Pull your son out of hockey, you have brought him shame and shame upon your family. Go to the media and make an apology statement. Your family is cursed and nothing but bad karma is coming.
