ST has alternated goalies all year long so why would it be any different next year keep your weak ass comments to yourself

Oh that’s simple to answer - New coach is one of the goalies dad. Whoever the other goalie is, they won’t even touch the ice. That’s just the reality of a parent coach.

You clearly are trying to stir things up as per usual on this site. No surprises there. Anyone with half a brain can read through the BS and knows this is fake news.

When you’re on a team where the coach’s son is playing the same position as you, things can get tricky—no matter how fair the coach tries to be. Even with the best intentions, there will always be subtle differences in how mistakes are handled, how playing time is distributed, and how opportunities are given.
You might start feeling extra pressure, not necessarily because the coach is openly unfair, but because deep down, he will always prioritize his own kid. If he’s not fair from the start, he’ll likely shape the situation in a way that makes you want to leave anyway—whether it’s through playing time, criticism, or just making the environment uncomfortable for you.
With that in mind, it might be a good idea to start looking for another team

Maybe You must speak from experience but it doesn’t define all coaches. But not all coaches are the same. Believe it or not there are a few (only a very select few) coaches out there that actually want the best for the team and players. They are not in it for the $$$ and legit have other non hockey job and life outside of hockey world. And if we are being honest here none of these kids are making to the NHL so let the kids play hockey. You can chase letters and wins but you should be chasing good team environment where the kids will remember their friendship made and lessons learned in 5 years time over who won xyz game.

It's a big difference when a coach is a parent of the goalkeeper and there's another goalkeeper in the team. They have absolutely different mentality.

Hello west families… looking for some feedback and please honest feedback since I am new to the west loop.

Spoke to coaches and here is my opinion without knowing anyone.

TW - coach seems nice but doesn’t know what’s happening with his team as per next year. Not sharing much info.

TE- don’t think they are making much change so not worth exploring

VR - Wow he is certainly aggressive but nice guy and families seem ok

HV- Coach seems a little odd and I don’t really have a good impression. Seems like a car salesman

MB- nice young guy and was trying to sell that the bench is non- parent. He kept saying he has lots of AAA kids coming down. Seems like a good sales person

MT- coach seems young and didn’t tell me much. Didn’t get a good read on his personality

SV- wow

MNS- coach seems a little fishy the way he approached us.

Haven’t called FT, WM

I know I shouldn’t listen here but any opinions from families would be great. I will try and listen to normal discussions

TW- young nice guy, decent coach, team is in shambles, be more worried about manager run team
TE- believe team is full, coaches animated and passionate
VR- coach very passionate, can seem loud in games, but good coach with good resume
HV- shady parent coach
MB- decent coach, parents are disaster
MT- disaster, training is decent but trainer !!!!
SV- ok coaching, team struggles
MNS- no comment

I’d love to know how you know anything about every team. I know where I am and it’s great, and you’ve listed it with a bad review so…you obviously just make stuff up.
What club are you with. Be honest.

This time of year.. all it takes is calling each coach and seeing what the situation is.. very easy to get a read on a coach if you take time to call them.

Why no comment about MNS? What’s wrong with the coach? Genuinely asking!

MNS coach is solid. Very knowledgeable and patient.
