Is anyone going to be left to even field a 2012 team next year?!
Sure. Smeli got nowhere to go. Maybe AA
Stay humble my friends... keep your mouth shut watch him/her play hockey and go home.... or this is what happens, he is scrambling and there are no takers... way to much dirty laundry from the past has caught up to them.
This is true. Nobody wants the kid and it’s because of his loud mouth and his dad’s arrogance. Now it’s come back to bite his ass.
This is the same clown that said he didn't want his other boy going in the 1st round of the OHL draft because he thought he would fall into the London Knights pick and wouldn't make the team... also the same clown that said Ryan Roobroeck was nothing special

The 2013 coaching staff being reported to OHF for tampering and using previous coach, manager and newbies to offer new players upcoming deals and incentives. Players and coaches will be banned and suspended for two years from that organization. Dirty dirty dirty on all levels but that’s the name of the game when you make offers and disregard the current players bye bye half the team
Rumour or truth? If true, any idea when the hammer will fall?
I'm seeing so much talk on these forums about a lot of other teams doing this, what make this particular year stand out that it needs to be reported?

Well I guess he got what he wanted, his kid was drafted late 8th round (#172 overall) and has never played an OHL game.
Roobroeck went #2 overall lol.

Since kids in 2013 already have spots on other teams next season I guess other teams are tampering too. Maybe encourage your kids to improve and earn ice time rather than making false accusations about managers and staff. Have fun next season on your new teams?

The only people that will be complaining about tampering are the ones that aren't in the future plans of their current team/org. With open borders it's a challenge to build a top tier progam relying only on internal development without adding external talent, . Coaches that try to do the right thing and let current players know early enough that they may not be on the team next year and encourage them to look for other opportunities risk having those parents making tampering allegations. If my kid isn't in the plans I'd want to know early so that there is time to find another team that may be a good fit. Personally, I believe that open borders provides choice for players and parents while putting the onus on organizations to build programs that retains and recruits top talent - it is however far from perfect.
Well said, it’s a new environment for all the organizations in the OMHA , kudos to the coaching staffs letting certain kids know that they aren’t in their future plans , it helps the kid and family out in deciding where they want to play in the next month prior to tryouts . Unfortunately like you stated above , people would assume there spot has been replaced which make them believe there has been tampering which is the furthest from the truth ! With this coaching staff in place for years to come and the resources they have at that their disposal , i think the org knows the phone will be ringing with a choice of kids to choose from from neighboring centers . Who wouldn’t want go to the Peewee, win future OMHAS and compete in the OHF for future years to come . The open borders is a blessing for any team at any age group that finished in 1st this year .
On that note good luck to all on wherever you land
