PFFFFFFTTT that’s not true at all. MC approached Fitz after he was turned down by 7 other teams. Fitz was not interested because he liked the 2 goalies he had. MC parents persisted and eventually offered a big sponsorship and then Fitz offered him 50/50. MC had to leave NYR because he was going to be the backup next year. Assssonya helped MC get the spot and Book came aboard because everyone left the REPS.

That is how it happened and you can ask Fitz himself. I don’t like calling people out on here but we need to sprinkle some truth in here sometimes.

Above is not true. You have zero truth. MC was offered a top spot with NYR again but chose Reps in early December. Ask Fitz! The north bay kid didn’t decide to come to Toronto until 2 weeks ago.

So why do you all keep taking part? The stupidest parents make comments on here and actually bash good kids. The other day I read people bashing JS. Seriously? You guys are all idiots. The top kids parents read this shit and laugh. You’re not offending anyone. The only ones offended are the parents whose kids are crap and they know it. Say what you want about PP - she’s is a good player and can hang with any of the defensemen in the league. If her parents are in fact engaging with Bookie - why?? He has proven again and again what a douche he is. Let him talk. Everyone knows it’s him and no one believes it. His kid is ok but Daddy has ruined things for him.

And FYI - there aren’t any crappy teams. They are all decent. Yes the top 4 teams are super but they will all implode soon enough. Too many egos. . New kids will probably go to bottom feeder teams but that’s where they will get ice. So who cares? If they’re touching the puck and playing that’s all that matters for one more year. All of you caught up in wanting to be on a championship team. Who cares and who will remember the U12 champs in 2025? Literally no one. Just like no one remembers or cares who went to the Brick. You’re the losers who dropped that money to be the crappieat teams at the tournament.

you just wrote an essay...some fair points made. PP is not good enough to play AAA on merit, the other kids are decent players with crazy parents.
Winning is extremely important and also being a brick player is a distinction that does not guarantee success, but the majority of those players will move on to OHL, around 5-20 will play games in the NHL, a few may even be first liners.

having a 4.0 GPA does not guarantee financial success, but the demographic on average makes more $ than the r.etards with 2.6.

Just be happy your kids are playing at this level, as they are top 2% athletes their age and many kids would kill to be in their place. Work hard and keep your mouth shut, that gives the kid their best shot at success

We all know a good amount of those made it because of deep pockets. My bank account saving 15k healed my wounds. lol.

Previous responses to that - yes correct. Everyone should just stay in their own lane and keep mouths shut. And don’t trust anyone. If you think you’re “venting” to a friend - you’re not. Go home and vent to your spouse or therapist. Best shot at success is most def keeping your mouth shut.

I just looked at the 2009 AAA thread. They only have 846 pages, and we’re over 1,500 pages with 4 years behind them. Great work everyone! Let’s keep it up and show the minor hockey world who has the craziest parent group collectively in the G!

MC's parents got cut from TM.
Tried hard for VK but AN didn't want the kid.
Went to NYR. Was told at the end of the year MC would be the backup next year.
They asked darn near every team in the league for a spot and got turned down (pretty common knowledge).
Fitz took them along with 30k sponsorship on a 50/50 deal.
Fitz never went out of his way to contact MC family, they pursued that spot HARD.

The kid has been bouncing from team to team, stop trying to create the illusion that he's in demand. He's not. And Fitz is the one who told me that story himself!
