It was mostly tier 3 mississauga stars and mississauga raiders kids (not the good ones), outcasts from other tier 2 teams, and at least 3 families who were parent cuts from their previous klevr teams. The org is late to the punch here and would have been beter off with DH and his core. It's amazing what people are willing to endure for that extra letter to say their kid plays AAA in the G. Adjust your rankings folks.
All the top kids flock to the same teams. The league would be more competitive as a whole if top talent spread out.

Why is TRW more expensive? You would think more funding would lead to better results.

Friggin insane. Toronto people need to give their head a shake for allowing this non-sense. And non-Toronto people should go touch grass for going to the G from another team in OMHA or others - for likely half the cost.

At 10k and above for G teams what is stopping places like Everest Academy from having a g team? At those costs, kids could get academics at the same time.

Shame that at these costs the g is not a competitive league. Hurts the brand. Team owners should implement a draft to make the league more competitive.

Don’t judge teams based on skates. Most teams let anyone show up. Any skate this time of year when most kids have stopped going to skates … will be a messy disaster

TRW gives free rides and discounts player fees. Their goalie plays free..that’s what happens when you have a parent buy a team when their kid don’t belong in AAA. Higher costs for everyone else.

That’s actually a great idea. Probably would never happen but it would eliminate a lot of the dumb parent driven drama and politics. Imagine teams and spots actually based on merit.

which they also have to pay for 2 non parent coaches who run their own respective hockey schools covered by the costs of the kids who arent receiving free rides. enjoy!
