Reality finally starting to set in to those parents who paid a small fortune for Brick, who watched their kids dominate when they were 10 years old, walked and talked like their kids were the next McDavid. Then the jealousy set in when other players were doing better and getting more ice than yours. How does it feel now? Humble Pie doesn't taste so good does it? Karma is a b***h. :)
Exactly. All now squirming and stressing about getting their kid on a team. Still chasing the dream and failing to accept reality...

Year after year trying out for AAA teams and always getting rejected but keep trying and wasting your time and energy. Coaches see you coming and laugh to themselves but will let you try out and give them money, why not? Parents have to be crazy to keep thinking this will go anywhere.

LOL! You're still talking about the Brick? The only people that still talk about the Brick are parents of kids who weren't there. I'm sorry for you.

Since you brought it up though of the Bulldogs 17 players all but 2 skaters and 1 goalie and of Pro Hockey's 17 all but the girl AM (who will go further than most of the boys), the 2010 and 3 others everyone was drafted. Meaning 26 of 32 draft eligible kids were selected.

A very accurate and telling statement. 6 eligible Brick players were Not drafted to OHL at all. Another 8 were drafted in late 'token' rounds. It really highlights that the Elite boys who were sought after when they were 10 - stayed elite. The other 14 were "favours/friends/paid pick" back when they were 10, and made it clear that they never deserved those spots and all the training in the world will never make them elite.

AAA tryouts got everyone acting like it’s the NHL draft…parents pacing, kids sniping & coaches pretending they don’t already know who’s in. Most of us won’t make it and even if we do, we’ll be riding the pine so long we might as well bring a sleeping bag.

Great player….. said nobody from his team ever.
Where is he playing next year?

U18 Credit River Capitals. The U16 AA Vaughan Panthers coach took over the U18 AAA Credit River Capitals and is taking over 50% of his U16AA team with him.

Not a chance. Will be eliminated 1st round which will equate to same result as last season. Mediocre team and if they finish 7th behind NYR they won't get a wild card play in game.
So finish 6th and lose to JRC in rd 1 and lose play in wild card game to either VK or TM . Or finish 7th and lose to TT rd 1 and done for season.
Great goalie, weak D and a few good fwds. 7th place team. Didn't get better this season.
Hot take time. TRW will eliminate the JRC if they have their captain in the lineup
Kid is overrated......never beat TT or JRC in a series. All their decent wins now are due to leaning on hot goalie. Really are a bad team
Ouch that didn’t age well. Lol
