2015 AA
Re: 2015 AA
Defence wins championships.
And that’s why neither the Beast or Toros will in U11.
This is going to be a VP-MNS fight.
Wait and see.

VP. Upgraded G. Had 3 strong D last year. How many stayed? Have they adequately replaced?
MNS. Scoring support for 19 has arrived with the ST kids. Top end D very strong and have apparently upgraded the rest. Where did these kids come from?
FT. Goalie very strong and added some F depth. Big TE kids coming in, but they lost their 2/3 D to WML. This limits the magnitude of the upgrade.
VR. Lost best player. Will struggle to tread water.
MB. Same as VR.
WML. Added some scoring and those FT kids are solid. Goalie is very strong. They may surprise even this projection.
DD. No idea what the turnover like, but Chico improved those kids last year and they play hard.
TE. Lost some talent. They could fall further here. Another strong goalie.
MT. Strong coaching. Turned over half the roster.
Bottom 5 seem to be HV/ST/TW/TA/MJ.
Re: 2015 AA
How much in sponsorship $ did your team get last year? Our target is $25000 which seems stupid high?
Re: 2015 AA
Is anyone else here doubting their move from A to AA? We’ve been run over in every game of the tournaments so far including by some
Teams in the loop that we will face next year. Losing 14-0 is not fun and what purpose is it serving? Maybe moving up a level makes sense if you go on your own to a good or at least ok team. But moving with half a dozen others might have been a mistake. It’s too late now probably but I have to wonder what will happen to our players confidence.

Were you expecting a mid pack.A team to make the jump and compete with the top AA teams?Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 2:20 pm Is anyone else here doubting their move from A to AA? We’ve been run over in every game of the tournaments so far including by some

No I was hoping for a mid pack team to compete with the mid pack teams and instead I think we could be the bottom.Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 4:13 pmWere you expecting a mid pack.A team to make the jump and compete with the top AA teams?Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 2:20 pm Is anyone else here doubting their move from A to AA? I guess that's what confuses me, how could an mid pack A team compete with a mid pack AA team?Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 5:54 pmNo I was hoping for a mid pack team to compete with the mid pack teams and instead I think we could be the bottom.Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 4:13 pmWere you expecting a mid pack.A team to make the jump and compete with the top AA teams?Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 2:20 pm Is anyone else here doubting their move from A to AA? What were you basing it on?
Going to be a long year for TA

No worries. You'll compete with MT and MJ for the bottom.Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 5:54 pmNo I was hoping for a mid pack team to compete with the mid pack teams and instead I think we could be the bottom.Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 4:13 pmWere you expecting a mid pack.A team to make the jump and compete with the top AA teams?Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 2:20 pm Is anyone else here doubting their move from A to AA? It could be a challenging year but with good coaching you might be surprised at the development that comes out of it. It may be a blessing in disguise to be a bottom third team because you won’t have over ambitious parents or coach trying to angle for the next thing.
I would also caution not to look at spring results. If you are losing 14-0 it’s to one of these teams with 3-4 AAA call ups who obviously won’t be an issue in the regular season.

The original coach runs a hockey skills school and said that he had lots of strong current AA kids who were interested in being coached by him.Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 6:15 pmI guess that's what confuses me, how could an mid pack A team compete with a mid pack AA team?Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 5:54 pmNo I was hoping for a mid pack team to compete with the mid pack teams and instead I think we could be the bottom.Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 4:13 pmWere you expecting a mid pack.A team to make the jump and compete with the top AA teams?Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 2:20 pm Is anyone else here doubting their move from A to AA?
