Maybe it you? Teams don’t take on parents that are losers.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 12:25 pm I’m losing my mind here. My kid lives and breathes hockey, tries out for every AAA team, gets nothing. Ignored, lied to, ghosted. Why is the GTHL doing this to him? And don’t tell me it’s because he’s not good, he’s the best damn AA player out there. What’s really going on?
2009 GTHL AAA

Who’s all trying out for aaa teams all summer? I feel like they are stringing us along by telling us to keep coming back to try out. Anyone else experiencing this?

2009 kids, listen up!
I know you’re watching McDavid in the playoffs thinking “yeah, that’s gonna be me.”
Let me hit you with a wake up call your parents won’t…
You better stay in school.
You better hit the books.
You are not making the show, you’re making the Tuesday night beer league.
Bro, you peaked at peewee, let it go.

I’m happy to say I got a spot on TT. I’ve tried out for AAA for 4 years now and almost was going to give up but this was my year. I’m officially a AAA player and will be wearing all the gear as soon as I can. I’m probably going to sleep in my team jacket. My dad and mom are also ordering a jacket. This is my dream come true. Thank you Allah!

Listen, brown boy…you think you’re going to take a spot away from my kid in aaa! Not going to happen! Coaches and players will take one whiff of you and your equipment and kick you off the team. My kid deserves to play aaa, he’s tall, built, high energy, hockey is his life, he doesn’t even do schoolwork, it’s 100% hockey. Do you have that commitment? Didn’t think so!Guest wrote: ↑Sun Jun 08, 2025 7:29 pm I’m happy to say I got a spot on TT. I’ve tried out for AAA for 4 years now and almost was going to give up but this was my year. Allah has a special plan here in Canada for hockey and it's not for Europeans, especially not Italians and Greeks who I see trying so hard to sneak onto our aaa teams. Pasta and souvlaki only gets you so far in this sport. Also once we break into the coaching scene we'll finally have a pure bread team that can win year after year. Yearly costs will go down, we will have our own hockey private schools and we will be set for generations. 1/10th of the cost it'll take for any other person trying to make the showGuest wrote: ↑Tue Jun 10, 2025 4:59 pmListen, brown boy…you think you’re going to take a spot away from my kid in aaa! All those kids that got the Covid 19 vaxx all have long covid symptoms to this day, they get 4/5 cold a season. Never will be able to play a high intensity game at the aaa level.
Re: 2009 GTHL AAA
2009 AAA is basically playing for fun at this point, realistically it’s all leading your kids to beer league and I’m not saying kids shouldn’t play for fun or physical activity but keep it real with these kids. Parents have to realize your little superstar isn’t a “superstar” in other people’s minds, we don’t focus on your kid. Don’t obsess over your son’s hockey. Get a life and get a grip.
