This Detroit team will take it with ease.
They are really good. Great defense.
I don't think they will get those types of chances they got early in every game. They didn't control the puck and beat up Minnesota, they just got a lot of break-aways, and finished their chances really well. So, if the puck doesn't bounce for them, they are beat-able.
but again, they look REALLY good and are probably the best team in the tourny.

I'm sorry but this tournament (and many others) have become all about how many points individual players get...it's no longer even about what team won, it's oh, look how many points so and so had. Sad really - It's a video game.
That's a stupid perspective.
Firstly, how much of a "TEAM GAME" can you think its will be when all these teams are a collection of kids who are playing together for a year at most.
I am not sure I have heard much about "Which kid scored all the point" either.

Incorrect, I just watched BP score the third goal. You don’t have to play with a guy for 5 years to see a teammate wide open at the side of the net for a tap in. They aren’t looking to pass.

But isn't that a sign of a good team? They bury the chances that are given to them?
Sorry but getting thumped 6-1 is not a "close" game. Sure, maybe 1 or 2 goals were "luck" but putting up 6, giving up 1 is a sign of a good team. It's like saying the Leafs were close in games 5 and 7.................

No one is saying it was a close game, Detroit out played them everywhere.
but, all my point is: Minnesota had lots of puck control and played a good structured game. They just couldn't get shots off or get things to the net.
It was a clear one sided win, but that doesn't mean Minnesota played bad. Thats all.
No one is saying MN is a bad team...personally i thought the score would be closer between MN and Detroit...but clearly Detroit was quite a bit better given the score.
