some kids.

others play like a team. Toronto Pro Hockey looked like a team to me.
Out here in Edmonton, can hear ML yelling at the kids in the room after that performance

Why would anyone want to play for a girl like that

21, 23, 43 worst ones on the ice
Is the Saskatchewan team supposed to be good this year? Or are the Bulldogs bad? I think they should give SR some linemates who pass and get open.
TBD is just not a good team, period.

SR’s size is going to become only a bigger problem with every passing year.
I’m not his mother or father but SR is the best player on the bulldogs and it isn’t even close, not sure the size of the parents but if that kid grows a little it’s game over. Maybe the bulldogs should get RH away from coaching those D. Only thing that guy knew how to do in hockey was sit in a penalty box
If SR was really that good he would have done more today. Kid had his ass handed to him. This is the peak of that kids hockey career, and it’s not pretty. Sorry Dad.
A lot of you seem to be confused how this is going to go so let me set it out for you as someone who has seen it all before.

In U12 some will start being told “your kid might be small…let’s see how things go.”

In U13 the coaches will get rid of 90% of kids who are smaller than average (hockey average not regular average). They will be replaced by beasts from AA who looked slow in U9 and didn’t have finesse but at 13, 14 they will happily flatten small AAA forwards who relied on skill but after they get splattered on the boards like flies or murdered on open ice they will fold and wither.

It isn’t fair but it happens every year. It’s coming. SR is a very good player but he won’t have space when hitting starts and he’ll be in a 50 lb and 6-8 inch deficit easy. Good luck with that. Not to pick on him exclusively, there are other tiny kids who were “all that at U8-9, ie ZL, they’re already folding.

How much do you think GL is kicking himself for the team they picked? Ruined his own kids brick year by taking a bunch of sleazy deals instead of building a team that could actually win something. Embarrassing

For some kids and parents i hope you’re right because they suck…but I don’t think you’re right. Many of the kids who are good and playing in brick now go on to be the good players in high school. All of the kids are going to grow regardless of what their actual size ends up being. Some kids dont grow height wise until 17.

The kids who are good now are going to be good for a while. Again I can’t stand some of the parents and wish they’d go away but they’re not going anywhere.

Are SR parents tiny? If the dad is even 5’10 the kid will likely be fine. He’s a great player. I’m sure his parents will find a way to get him to 5’10 or taller.

I have no idea but it's ridiculous that so many people think they know the future.

Bulldogs goaltending is beyond weak. It seemed like odd choices. I Expected Holmes to be a pylon- he had no clue how to stop a backhand shot from average Omha kids. But the other goalie JS is just as weak. Those are 2 positions bulldogs shouldn’t have let “favours” get in. There are far more dominant goalies out there that could have at least gotten them 1-2 wins.

Bulldogs next 2 games are against the top teams. They will be 0-4 by tomorrow and not advance to the playoff round. Beyond embarrassing for a Toronto team.

He is basically 2 inches beyond the midget threshold

maybe there are some taller genes on the mom's side or somewhere in the dad's side. The size of the dad is not always an indicator of how tall the kid will be. Kid's are outgrowing their parents these days. The pediatrician even told us that. Please get a life and stop being jealous of the kids that are good.

D and goaltending are a total mess. Because 2015 is weak the Marlies can hide this but not for long.
