There is no mid pack team in any GTHL AAA age group just top super teams and then bottom feeders. No borders means only half the teams get talent as they recruit all the best and leave the rest for bottom teams that get killed by OMHA trams

Again this team literally just played the 2015 Nats and were up 3-1 at one point in the game. So unless you're saying the Nats are garbage, sit this one out.
What was the final score? Did they win or lose? Don’t talk about a first period lead. Which tournament was this?

Especially in U10.

Over the span of the year, you might see that the kids had unlaying talent all along, but, it will take them a while to catch up to the other kids. So you just need to hope that the kids catch up quickly before the other kids continue their development path starting further along.

So are they going to be set up for success or what? Do they have top notch coaching? Are they going to be given access to top notch power skating and skill development? Are the kids going to be the type of kids to go "above and beyond" team training to do their own stuff?

time will tell. Stouffville MD and Markham MD programs both looked average at best when I saw them. So its not like they were even the best of the best in MD either.
Not quite. It’s also kids who are athletic and play another complimentary sport such as baseball or lacrosse.there are studies on this. Kids who can play with confidence and have mental toughness. And then it also all changes when checking starts.

They've played tier 1 Canlan tournaments the last two years. Often among the top teams. This year a couple weeks ago they were up 3-1 on the Nats early, then lost the game. They're right there with the mid pack G teams. So usually that means upper pack OMHA.
Lol fake news...

Mid pack G teams are absolutely not = to upper pack OMHA.

MAYBE at the older ages U10, U11, U12 they are about equal. Waxers are a mid-pack team for sure.
Exactly. Mid pack G is equal to mid pack OMHA not upper OmHA teams.
This year DMF was mid pack G at u10. They would absolutely be a top 3 OMHA team.
Not a chance. Also, with KSLs best teams feeding into OMHA you will see those teams start to become better at the younger ages than the G teams.
The DMF comment is correct … further context Nats 2014 just beat Quinte 7-1 Nats finished 3rd/4th in the season. Quinte was tops

DMF would destroy WW or Barrie.
It really is a fact that mid pack G means upper pack OMHA. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an OMHAer with an inferiority complex.

Certain OMHA orgs prefer to keep it family and friends so they do t care about being a top team.

Standing from previous tournaments? Are they playing at Elite, AAA or AA?
