Orangeville and Caledon make sense to move to York-Simcoe, but Brampton should stay in the Tri-County, they are much closer to Halton, Milton, Oakville, etc.

In the AA loop this would bring YSMHL up to 12 teams, and leave the Tri-County loop with 13 teams, which is about as balanced as you're going to get.
If Orillia gets moved up to AA, then your an even 13 teams in each league.

Come playoffs and OMHA's each league sends 3 teams and the Lakeshore league will still send 2 teams, for your 8 team final tournament.

The amount of teams will go down next year as bluewater, niagara district, shamrock and now WOAA have A centres too. 7 teams across all A leagues, wonder who will get the extra? most likely york simcoe or tri county.

Hamilton Huskies are moving to Tri-County for 2025-26 season.
