The change is that now boarding is a 3 game suspension (previously 2), An elbow is a 10 min misconduct + 1 game, Fighting is 4 games (previously 3).

Additionally referees Stefani, Gold, Scarecella, Rivait and Corlevic have been relieved from their duties temporarily as they will do some additional training to become the lead officiators for major events. (ex. OHL Cup, Silver Stick, Playoffs.)

Also teams will receive a fine for suspensions. It is being discussed, however it is looking like $350 per game suspended for a player and $400 for a coach.
