2013 GTHL AAA
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
AC can't be that bad. He is an 11 year old boy. Let's try to be kinder and remember that.

At what age is AM's kid smart enough to realize that the only reason he's playing AAA hockey is because his dad picks the team?
What a crushing moment it will be when he realizes that, now or in the future.

Whats CB play now for all the OMHA boys on DMF now that open borders exist ? His money still relevant ?
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
BM is the coach. He can’t be bought. He is one of the most stand up guys coming to the loop. CB is SOL. Probably take the whole clan and a few barrie boys to the waxers or something to create a super team. The beau / AS combo won’t be beat. Open borders- kids don’t need a release and don’t have to move to a new address. Knock yourselves out!
TM - team has always done fine. Entitled parents seem to be the issue year after year. Are there better coaches out there? Sure. Grass is rarely greener. His kid - works his ass off and has been getting better every year. Is he a top talent? No and AM knows this. But you can’t fault his work ethic. He has no choice but to prove the haters wrong since everyone is always slagging his old man. Whereas most people look at goals and assists as the primary measures of success, anyone who’s succeeded in anything knows that work ethic wins out in the long run.
ACTRW - Half the parents in this league would sell out their grandma for an empty promise or misplaced belief that their kid is more special than they really are. There’s talent across the league but not one has yet proven to be a generational talent. All these delusional parents (ACTRW, JSTYN, LCTYN, EWTYN, LTVK, NPTRW, AGTM, NOSTM, GDTM, etc) jump teams because they believe their kids are entitled to MORE. The coach is the problem? Oddly, he’s fine until he’s not. And that usually has something to do with the fact that everyone else is getting better, the game is getting harder and your tyke Sidney Crosby is struggling to hold the gap. He’s not getting shafted - he’s getting equal treatment. A concept you refuse to accept because you think Junior deserves to be treated special.
They’re your kids. Do what you want. But it’s laughable to see you manoeuvre your way season after season because “the coach” or “culture” is the issue. None of you will ever stay put for long. And you’ll never be happy. And you’ll never acknowledge that maybe it’s you and your kid to blame.
