What a bitter post by AM. Your kid is not a top player, and by all accounts is a spoiled, entitled brat. We’ve all heard the stories. He doesn’t have to work for his spot on the roster, it’s given to him even though he didn’t earn it. That’s the essence of everything that’s wrong in minor hockey. He’d be in AA if he wasn’t gifted a spot that he takes away from other deserving kids, and that’s wrong. You don’t seem to understand that. If he’s so hard working and deserving of his spot then why do you bench him or not even dress him for big games? That just proves to everybody that you know that he doesn’t deserve to be there, and when the games matter, you don’t have any confidence in your own son.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 7:45 am Open borders- kids don’t need a release and don’t have to move to a new address. TM - team has always done fine. Entitled parents seem to be the issue year after year. Are there better coaches out there? Sure. Grass is rarely greener. His kid - works his ass off and has been getting better every year. Is he a top talent? No and AM knows this. But you can’t fault his work ethic. He has no choice but to prove the haters wrong since everyone is always slagging his old man. Whereas most people look at goals and assists as the primary measures of success, anyone who’s succeeded in anything knows that work ethic wins out in the long run.
ACTRW - Half the parents in this league would sell out their grandma for an empty promise or misplaced belief that their kid is more special than they really are. There’s talent across the league but not one has yet proven to be a generational talent. All these delusional parents (ACTRW, JSTYN, LCTYN, EWTYN, LTVK, NPTRW, AGTM, NOSTM, GDTM, etc) jump teams because they believe their kids are entitled to MORE. The coach is the problem? Oddly, he’s fine until he’s not. And that usually has something to do with the fact that everyone else is getting better, the game is getting harder and your tyke Sidney Crosby is struggling to hold the gap. He’s not getting shafted - he’s getting equal treatment. A concept you refuse to accept because you think Junior deserves to be treated special.
They’re your kids. Do what you want. But it’s laughable to see you manoeuvre your way season after season because “the coach” or “culture” is the issue. None of you will ever stay put for long. And you’ll never be happy. And you’ll never acknowledge that maybe it’s you and your kid to blame.
It’s also not lost on us that every single person who has ever left your team you claim was cut. This is a very sad attempt to save face and I don’t know anyone who believes it. We know that you didn’t cut these kids or their parents, they chose to leave your toxic and immature culture. It’s proven by the fact that aside from AC, not one of the kids you point the finger at has ever caused problems on any other team they’ve ever been on. What’s the common denominator? YOU. It’s sad that you lie and try to smear the reputations of children because their parents want them in a better atmosphere and your ego can’t handle it.
Now that half of your team is leaving you again this year, you can see the writing on the wall that your time in this league is quickly coming to a close. Desperate calls to kids like BH and CC begging them to come have been shut down by their parents, who know your terrible reputation with kids. There isn’t a single top player coming to your team, and your posts show that you’re in full panic mode telling lies to make it seem like families actually still want to be part of your toxic program.
Under your lack of leadership TM is going to fall to a mid pack team next year and you’ll be fired while all of the families you’ve mistreated over the years have a good laugh at your expense.
It’s coming and you know it.
