There are also a few coaching changes for 25/26. ST & TW for sure. That may mean some openings as players follow current coaches to new teams.

Suggestion 1: Rule out any team with a parent coach - we all know how that ends
Suggestion 2: Stay away from all the mississauga teams - there is always drama (Minus the Beast)
Suggestion 3: Find a coach looking to build a forever group - you can tell who those people are when you meet them. Shortsighted coaches only focus on wins now
Suggestion 4: Stay away from Vaughan - if you thought parent groups were bad in AAA....they might be worse here
Suggestion 5: Go to some skates and let your kid see if he likes the kids on the team he his skating with - some groups make kids feel at home right off the bat...typically by the ones coached by good people....

Well if the team overturned 6 kids last year (3 of which went AAA)
MB has 6 new kids and 3 have confirmed they are returning AT LEAST

That’s why I will never go to the beast. Coach’s Lie and little Jonny will be gone in a sec. Your word means nothing to the beast organization. Ask the families of the beast that are getting screwed. I’m one of them.

We wanted to go MB, coach said they went another direction... even provided great feedback for my son's development.. personally at least they have the decency to tell players some of these coaches just ignore you. Been waiting for a response from MT for weeks. Coach won't even give me a call back.

It's also February, no one got screwed, you have plenty of time to find no names a team, may I suggest an A team if your going to cry about it?

If your son deserved a spot on that team he would have earned it himself. But instead you play the blame game and cry on the internet like a child. Its pretty obvious which kids push the MB train forward and its obviously not yours.

A little FYI my son got cut last year a day before tryouts. I got screwed you and Jimmy have more then enough time to find out which girls team you want to play on next year.

What do you think about the Streetsville organization in general and the 2014 team in particular? I've come across a lot of negative feedback, likely somewhat exaggerated, about their current coach and parent group. However, that coach is leaving, likely along with some players.

I spoke with their new coach, who made a good first impression, though I don’t know much about him. He mentioned that the team has been gradually improving, especially since he took on more responsibilities as an assistant. He also noted that the goalies are competitive by league standards and both are staying, and that he has some experience coaching rep teams.

That said, I’m concerned about some of the negative comments surrounding the team, including reports of a tense atmosphere and incidents involving parents. Additionally, the team’s low league position this season raises some questions.

Love that Beast are making all these changes every year......must be big problems .......players not developing.....coaches not developing.....team didn't do as well this year and not in the top 4 in west AA, and not in the top 8 in GTHL AA overall......why would you go there when there when there is rumours of internal fighting, players leaving mid season, coaches wanting to go to AAA teams. Kids are still 10. Its AA hockey. Just try find a place where they will develop to be better hockey players and people and not be treated like NHL players with a cup on the line

ATTENTION MHT:

Public Service Announcement: Coaches don't owe you S**t, if they are unhappy with your kids performance, practice habits, development, attitude, etc. they will cut your kid. This isn't HL hockey, it's competitive, rep hockey. If you can't handle it go back to HL and have your fun.

Look in the mirror before blaming everyone else for your kid. And just to show you all how ruthless this league can be, my older boys division, the team who went to the finals changed 11 kids the following year. Our kids are all on 1 year deals. Nobody is safe.

Goes the other way too, not too many of us would say no if TW asked for our kid to play there lol, so why are you crying your on the other side of it

another Not allowed parent. Does your son still breast feed? Is the bottle to intense for him? To many babies in hockey today. Push your kids not only in hockey but in life. or they will end up to being losers just like mommy and daddy. Bring your son to the pride parade this year I’m sure he would enjoy that a lot more then some coach being tough on him.

My goal is the KHL for my kid. Less competition. My son gets to meet beautiful women in Russia/ex soviet countries.
