2016 AAA
Re: 2016 AAA
I have many friends on the NS, the consensus after this weekend is AC as nice as he is, he is punching above his weight limit. He is too nice to coach at this level, he doesn't communicate with parents, a hell of an instructor but not cut out for coaching. The org he is going to isn't helping his case either. Mass exodus of players is happening.
Re: 2016 AAA
Weakest D in T1 teams. Worst Goals against stats with an elite goalie. And forwards are selfish and don’t move the puck. Team started well but yeah fell off the cliff. is coach the problem?Guest wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2025 4:18 pm What the hell is going on with the NS Gold? Talk about falling off a cliff
Re: 2016 AAA
When you allow the same selfish play over and over and over again then yes the coach has to take some of the blame if your kids aren't being held accountable. Do you want to be their friend or their coach. Look at it as a job considering he is being paid and not a social club.
Re: 2016 AAA
One thing about AC is he is very set in his ways. He won't try new things, have kids try different positions. It's not working get a clue! Don't be afraid to rattle some cages a bit. Maybe try some actual development for a change some kids might just surprise you.

Re: 2016 AAA
100% accurate. The amount of skill mixed with two way players he has, he hasn't been able to advance them to where they should be. Watch this team they are everywhere, no positioning whatsoever and they may even lose to teams below them when you play an individual style. This team arrives at the arena thinking they will beat teams on skill alone. Not anymore chief. But I'm sure a money man will cure all of that next year, seemed to be working for the TRW 2015 team tooGuest wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2025 4:32 pm When you allow the same selfish play over and over and over again then yes the coach has to take some of the blame if your kids aren't being held accountable. Re: 2016 AAA
Listen AC is an awesome guy, treats our boys like Gold, no issues in the room, same can't be said for some other nut job coaches out there but I can't really disagree with most of what's been said in previous posts. The results speak for themselves.
