2016 AAA
Re: 2016 AAA
Been to a few skates and the main thing I have noticed is the intensity of Klevr kids vs Kids in MD or MHL or whatever non Klevr league it’s not even close. A Tier 2 Klevr player is leaps and bounds above and that might be coaching or the fact they have been playing full ice since last year or just 5 months this year but the difference is real.

Did RW not get 2016 BJC?

why do you think TT will be so high? Serious question, not poking. Have they put together a strong group-- not awareGuest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 10:36 am New ranking based on latest news through valid sources of how teams are shaping up.

Re: 2016 AAA
TT will be adding a few strong pieces. They have shown flashes of a strong team but have been inconsistent. They also have good size on that team to give teams problems if they can figure out how to use that size.
Re: 2016 AAA
He might just not want my kid anymore, however, he reached out early on - and then never reached out again. So take that for whatever its worth.
Re: 2016 AAA
Which teams are those kids from and the all star tournament?Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 1:36 pmThe 2 forwards and big D kid are probably from KSL league, just lower tier teams and not the top TEAMS. Again lots of kids on higher KSL teams that arn't really good players than you have some really good players on lower KSL teams. Top teams are looking at that lower talent but again hockey is more about who has the $$ to play and less about the top talent on your team it seems. Looks at the kids picked for the KSL All Star team in the tournament next weekend. You can't tell me they took the top talent, it looks more like they took the coaches kids.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 11:58 amGuest wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 10:06 amIt seems really hard. Almost all the spots are going to KSL players. Have to stand out at skates (which isnt easy with 30 kids on the ice) for a non-KSL kid to get any notice. All the coaches are from KSL and they don't really know the non ksl kids. There are lots of non-KSL kids that could easily be a good players on teams if coaches gave them a chance and really watched them. Lots of KSL kids getting spots arent that great... but they play for some top KSL team so its easyGuest wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 9:49 amOf course its possible for an MD player to make a AAA team. They just need to be good. There is no magic sauce in KSL, its just full ice hockey and lots of competitive games (for the most part) if your kid gets the development and has played some full ice hockey, then they will probably have a chance like anyone else.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 5:46 pm What’s TRW looking like for next season? Hearing that team is going to many northern Saints from KSL players going? Possible for a MD player to make any of these AAA teams?
the issue is most of the kids who were good, left MD and went to KSL. So, that in itself just makes it more likely that kids from KSL teams make AAA, but also the competition in MD is watered down and is mostly bad.
Off top of head, I can only think of 2 forwards and that big D kid that are getting lots of attention from top teams not coming from KSL - but I think they play on teams that sometimes play KSL teams or play in tournaments Not too sure.
Of course I am not talking about VK and Nats who play NYHL and are basically taking most the team. I guess that's one way to not play KSL and make a good team
Where are the two forwards and big D from? You mean they are in U9MD or from KSL?
Re: 2016 AAA
I've seen at least one kid with Aces trim that looks like a top player so I wouldn't be shocked if its a good team unless they have some weak parts they haven't addressed.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 10:40 amwhy do you think TT will be so high? Same with Vaughan at least one or two very good players then it depends what they area doing with the rest. For the Nats it looks like decent D and not much offense.
Re: 2016 AAA
Cmon are you seriously gonna ask that question.
