Nothing wrong with playing year up AA,The kid looks good
He will have a year of contact over the rest. Who else is playing year up ?

Seriously. Who goes out of their way to make up complete lies like that? He’s on the team, never cut. Enough already.

The only way he’s on the team is if he threatened his way on. My son is actually on the team and we know he was cut. It’s not a secret. If the team caves in to these threats and the parents temper tantrum then expect the parent group to have a huge problem with it.

So many people talking about this at the rink. It is true HB was cut from DMF on Sunday. The coaches tried to do a solid and called 3 teams trying to find him a spot but no takers. DMF coaches sent out the registration link Monday and accidentally included HB and another kid who had been cut. Coaches called both kids parents right away and an explained and apologized for the mistake . First family was ok with it but HB parents said they got the link so they are entitled to a spot - even though they had already been cut the day before and the coach called to say the email was a mistake right away. HB parents then freaked out and confronted DMF staff yelling and screaming the way many people have described already and mom leaving nasty phone messages.
The whole situation is silly and embarrassing because teams can release anyone they want until November so no matter what HB is not on the team. It’s crazy that parents of a cut try to force their way into a team because of a mistake email that the coaches apologized for. The parents need to stop humiliating themselves and move on.

there are plenty of tryouts going on it’s crazy people lock on to one team they feel their kid has to play for. There are good coaches at all levels may be a blessing in disguise go somewhere new

This all sounds like BS. There is 0 PERCENT chance this is a thing. How can a parent dictate if their kid makes a team or not?

A coach at ANY time, can cut or remove someone from the team, especially at tryouts. He clearly made the team and someone is just bad mouthing the family and kid because they themselves got cut…

If this is true… well then the DMF coach and organization have 0 backbone. THERE IS O CHANCE that these events happened. No kid has ever been cut from a team and the Mother and father, stormed the Capital and got their kid to sign a card by threatening and yelling at the org and coach for 3 hours….
The coach would just laugh in their face and rip the card up. Mommy and daddy don’t get to dictate anything.
