The brick is different. Every team is really good and you are playing one game elimination in the playoff round. Anything can happen. Look at the 2011 tbd’s team. They were completely stacked and they won every tournament leading up to the brick but lost in OT in the semis in Edmonton on a bad penalty call. That’s the way I goes. Any team has a chance to win in the mall.

Some teams will also not shorten their benches in pre brick tournaments but they will do it in Edmonton and the small ice at the mall makes a huge difference. We beat CJR in the spring last year but in Edmonton they seemed like a different team. It’s hard to tell before you actually get there but good luck to all who are going this year! It really is the best competition and a great experience.
