Guest wrote: Tue Oct 24, 2023 8:58 am I’m happy with the solid mix of mid pack teams and the closing gap on the top teams. IMO the game is transitioning to a better version of hockey. The top 3 teams are going to come poaching the mid pack teams because a couple of kids are really starting to stand out. JRC, TM and NYR will not sustain their success with the mix of players they currently have. Lots of overrated kids on top teams and underrated players on mid pack teams.
thanks mid pack dad!!!! your son is looking good this season, much better than the overrated players on top teams! He was impressive in the defensive zone and was only -5 with 2 wrist shots into the goalies chest. We will be reaching out to your agent, because we know we can't sustain success without adding your son
Every year JRC, TM and NYR cut kids from their bottom me and replace them. It’s inevitable. The bottom 5 on all 3 teams will be replaced. People are already talking and it’s not even November yet.
People already talking eh. What is out there?
Will most of the coaches remain the same?
TM has to seriously consider changes. Year after year is the same issues. Lack of improvement even after all the changes. Blaming past players.

Rumour is VK ends up with a new coach.

Does JRC keep VA as a GM?

Give it a rest SENSational parent. Same could be said for kids on DMF, Nats, Rebs, VK, etc..

Not a chance a Sens player will / may make the jump to a top team… You are dreaming SENSational parent!!

So filler for filler basically? TRW, DMF, MR, Nats and Reps easily have 1 or more players better suited than Sens to move if the parents feel its a better option.

Great take for parity in the league! Unfortunately, parents' egos will get in the way. TYN a great example of a team that majority stayed together and having success this year.

Not really. Top 3 has a lot of awesome small kids who can skate really well and play smart hockey. Its the big kids on those teams that have trouble keeping up from what I've seen.
