RE YSE 1st rounder not reporting to Ice Dogs because someone corrupt. Without him their draft class is so weak.

What’s the ticket price for this kind of draft

After chatting with a few scouts - It's been widely known that this year's draft was on the weaker side overall. Plenty of people ended up with a slice of the pie. Ton of $ exchanged for 10th Rd & below draft selection. All for bragging rights I guess. I would rather a nice trip for 7-15K

AH is a scum bag. Him and his brother have the enthusiasm of a wet carrot. None of their teams end up being good because they take money over merit. Both were NHL draft picks but that 6"4 height means dick all with out heart.

A kid who deserved to be picked on merit, lost a spot because of $$$. How the OHL and GTHL allow these vermin to be in control of a non profit, with no education is what is wrong with hockey.

3rd Flint
Bad ones
1st Niagara
2nd Brantford
3rd Kitchener

If you have to pay to be on a team or drafted (which doesn’t happen - most of that is made up bs) then you’re not good enough. Even if you paid to get drafted, you’ll never play junior, at least not in the CHL. Coaches and gms are the ones who choose the roster, not scouts lol. The gm and coach will never know who the parents are and don’t care to. If you’re good enough, you’ll make it. You could be playing in butt f*ck Kansas and you’ll be seen if you’re good enough.

The paying to play stops once you exit minor hockey. A lot of parents will be in shock because they no longer have any control over their kids hockey future good luck

Turns out that the one kid's dad works for the team,
And the other's dad used to play for the Storm.

5'6' goalie son of Andrew Raycroft gets drafted...

Maybe we should call this the Nepotism Draft.
